The National Association of Securities Professionals (NASP) is the premier organization that assists people of color and women achieve inclusion in the financial services industry. NASP:

  • Connects members to industry leaders and business opportunities; 
  • Advocates for policies that create equal representation and inclusion;
  • Provides educational opportunities; and 
  • Works to build awareness about the value of ensuring that people of color and women are included in all aspects of the financial services industry.

NASP was founded in Chicago in 1985 by Maynard H. Jackson, Felicia Flowers-Smith, Joyce M. Johnson & Donald Davidson. From a core group of 44 people in attendance at NASP’s first organizational meeting in 1985, the organization has grown to become a resource for diverse professionals within the financial services industry. Headquartered in Washington, D.C., NASP currently has 11 local chapters throughout the United States and boasts a membership of over 500.

You may have noticed that we have a new look! NASP has integrated with Memberclicks, a new interactive database system that will allow us to capture information about our members and connect with you all more efficiently. The new NASPHQ website will integrate with our membership management system for a full-featured social community for NASP members.
